Sensory Rice

Some ways you can use the rice:

• Dig in the rice with hands
• Use scoops and containers to practice pouring and tipping skills
• Create patterns, shapes and/or pictures on a tray
• Get some beach toys and dig in the rice
• Trace letters and numbers in the rice
• Write words in the rice
• Hide small toys and let the kids find them
• Use construction vehicles in the rice (diggers, dump trucks, rollers etc)

Recommended age: 3 years +

*Please note that the rice is made using isopropyl alcohol. This sounds more alarming than what it is. Isopropyl alcohol completely evaporates once it is dried, leaving now trace behind. Once the rice has been dried, it is completely safe for anyone to handle and use.

**The rice is not to be ingested as it is uncooked. This is a sensory item and not sold to be eaten. We recommend supervising the play with the sensory rice. If your little one is still inclined to put items in their mouth, we recommend waiting until this stage passes.
